Scars of Mirrodin is the first set in the Scars of Mirrodin block. The set features 249 black bordered cards, including randomly inserted premium versions of all cards in the set. It will be available in intro packs, booster packs and fat packs. The set introduces new mechanics including: Metalcraft, Infect, and Proliferate. New Planeswalker cards are included.

(2011) Mirrodin Besieged
In the Mirrodin Besieged set, the Phyrexian assault on the metallic plane of Mirrodin intensifies. The Mirran resistance rallies to survive and overcome. Both sides bring the full might of their arsenals to bear. Not only does this set have more of what made the Scars of Mirrodin set great—incredible artifacts, poison, Equipment, Myr—but it also has some innovative and deadly new tricks. (2011) New Phyrexia
It came not in the form of a noble struggle, a fair contest of warriors clashing will against will, but as a wave of unstoppable slaughter. Mirran partisans resisted bravely, using their wits and magic to fend off the onslaught that originated from inside their own world.
But their efforts were for naught. Phyrexia is victorious. Mirrodin now goes by a different name: New Phyrexia.
New Phyrexia is the third set in the Scars of Mirrodin block. The set features 175 black-bordered cards, including randomly inserted premium versions of all cards in the set. It will be available in intro packs, booster packs, and fat packs. The set introduces new mechanics including phyrexian mana.
A new Planeswalker card is included.
